As a child I loved to play dress up, put on make up, and draw on all my schoolwork.
It wasn't until much later in life I painted my first watercolor, titled "Look Out" for the Great Dane Club of America National Specialty 2005 auction. My motivation was simple: To create something from the heart to benefit the ones who have my heart.
I have always had a passion and soft spot for the less fortunate, especially animals.
Through my work, I hope to convey compassion, emotion & inspiration.
I am self-taught in the medium of watercolor. I continue to experiment and learn.

As a young girl, I would sometimes bring home skinny and neglected strays. My heart was as broken as they were.
Through the years, I have grown to love all animals. These are sentient beings, who have families.
They feel pain, loss, grief, fear, love and joy.
It is my hope, through my work, to bring awareness for those with whom we share our planet. We all have purpose.
A portion of the proceeds from my work is donated to charities and
non-profits who share the same passion and love for our planet, humanity, all living beings and elements.
