My first watercolor started with the painting titled "Look Out".
This was specifically created for the Great Dane Club of america National Specialty 2005 in Chandler, Arizona. Subsequently, the "Lancaster" painting was created for the GDCA National Specialty 2007 in Lancaster, PA; as was
"I Will Wait". "Moonrise At Sundown" was created for the Willamette Valley Great Dane Club Specialty in Portland, Oregon.
My inspiration was my boy, Monty, who was entered in the National in 2005, and was Winners Dog in the Open Fawn Dog Class!
The proceeds from these paintings were donated to the GDCA Charitable Trust, and the Willamette Valley Great Dane Club.

The above pieces with windows consist of two paintings. The dog and the window are one painting, and the scenery is a separate painting. The dog and window are each individually cut out by hand, to reveal the backdrop. there are other paintings I've created, and used the same idea.
